Elena Brennan

Elena joined Piper Communications in 2022 and is currently Director of Media & Stakeholder Relations. Her responsibilities include public relations planning, stakeholder management, media auditing, project management, content creation, and developing media pitching strategy.

Before joining Piper Communications, Elena spent seven years in Washington, DC, working in various positions in the U.S. Congress and in public policy, including legislative and communications roles with Sen. Marsha Blackburn, Rep. Tim Walberg, and the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, as well as a global law firm. Throughout her career, she has focused on energy and technology policies, drafting various pieces of legislation that have become law, and representing tech, telecom, and energy companies’ interests before the Federal government.

Originally from Michigan, she graduated from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

When not working, you can find her hanging out on a lake, practicing her golf swing, or traveling to visit family and friends.
