Trillium Renewable Chemicals is pioneering a chemical manufacturing process that is replacing oil and gas derived propylene with biorenewable feedstocks in the manufacturing of green, drop-in molecules like acrylonitrile and acetonitrile. After raising a $10.6 million Series A financing round, the company wanted to increase the visibility of this milestone. Since then, Trillium raised an additional $13 million to launch the world’s first demonstration plant for bio-based acrylonitrile.
