What is your position at Piper Communications and describe your role?

I am the Director of Operations and Events at Piper Communications. In this role, I oversee the internal staff operations, including the recruitment and onboarding processes, staff development, and professional development for the team. I’m also responsible for planning and executing a range of client events, from listening sessions to full-day conferences.

What’s your favorite part about working at Piper Communications?

My favorite part about working at Piper Communications is the group of women I get to work alongside every day. They are not only talented and driven but also genuinely supportive of one another. The impact our clients have on the community, state, and beyond makes our work fulfilling.

Who or what inspires you in your work and why?

My mom and dad are my greatest inspirations. They showed me the importance of hard work and commitment and always supported me in whatever I set out to accomplish. From them, I learned to work hard, to stay disciplined, and to approach everything I do with integrity. Their constant encouragement and example shaped the way I approach my goals and challenges today.

What unique skills or perspectives do you bring to your role?

I bring a leadership style grounded in compassion and connection. I have a strong ability in identifying people’s strengths, motivations, and challenges, and I believe in meeting individuals where they are to help them grow. I try to create an environment where people feel supported and encouraged, which tends to bring out their best work. I’m a strategic thinker and problem solver. I enjoy analyzing situations, identifying key priorities, and creating a plan to move forward. This balance of people-centered leadership and strategic focus allows me to guide teams effectively while staying aligned with long-term goals.
