What is your position at Piper Communications and describe your role?

I’m a Project Coordinator at Piper Communications, a role that keeps me engaged and constantly learning. My responsibilities span a wide range of tasks, from creating compelling social media content and pitching podcasts to compiling analytics and reporting. Every day brings a new challenge, which means I’m always tapping into different skills and expanding my understanding of communications strategy.

What’s your favorite part about working at Piper Communications?

Piper Communications allows me to explore what I enjoy within the communications field. I love that I can gain experience in all aspects of marketing and communications. I also appreciate that my coworkers value my ideas, allowing us to achieve a common goal in new, innovative ways..

Who or what inspires you in your work and why?

Taylor Swift…. Just kidding. While I admire Taylor Swift’s relentless work ethic (and catchy tunes), my biggest inspiration comes from my parents. Their unwavering support and words of wisdom, especially my dad’s advice to “take it day by day; it’s a jungle out there,” have shaped my perspective and drive. They’ve always believed in me and I carry that motivation into everything I do.

What unique skills or perspectives do you bring to your role?

I bring a strong focus on purpose. I always strive to keep our work grounded in the “why,” asking thoughtful questions to ensure we’re aligned with our clients’ goals. I also believe in being a “sponge,” soaking up knowledge whenever possible. Although it can be intimidating entering a field with little to no background knowledge, it’s been exciting to learn the ins and outs of advanced energy.

In your opinion, what makes the culture at Piper Communications stand out?

Piper’s culture is truly something special. Our team supports one another wholeheartedly–we celebrate each other’s wins, provide encouragement through challenges and share knowledge openly. It’s an environment built on trust, collaboration and kindness. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of a workplace where I can grow professionally while being surrounded by people who genuinely care.
